The Town of Sedgewick Bylaw # 464 requires the annual licensing of dogs.
Council has implemented a grandfather clause in the new canine bylaw # 464 that permits new residents to move in with more than 2 dogs. They are able to license and continue until such dogs pass on.
Current residents who had more than 2 dogs at the time of the Bylaw passing are included in the grandfather clause.
Residents are not permitted to have more than 2 dogs.
Dog licenses are due on or before January 31. License fees are as follows:
