Animal Licensing

The Town of Sedgewick Bylaw # 464 requires the annual licensing of dogs.

Council has implemented a grandfather clause in the new Canine Bylaw #464 that permits new residents to move in with more than 2 dogs. They are able to license and continue until such dogs pass on.
Current residents who had more than 2 dogs at the time of the Bylaw passing are included in the grandfather clause.
Residents are not permitted to have more than 2 dogs.

Dog licenses are due on or before January 31. License fees are as follows:

	3	$22.50	$45.00
	4	$30.00	$60.00
Dog Tag Replacement Fee	All	$3.00 each	$3.00 each

After January 31st Fees double in cost

Newcomers have 14 days to license their dogs before the increased fee takes effect.

Dog Licenses can be purchased at the Town of Sedgewick Office (4818 – 47 St.)
