Energy & Gas Telemarketers

It has come to our attention that some of the residents have been approached by Retailers offering combined billing of gas & electricty services.

The Town of Sedgewick owns and operates the gas system.
Customers in municipalities gas systems are exempt from partpication in natural gas from an outside retailer. Outside retailers are not permitted to offer residents gas service in the Town of Sedgewick.

If you have been approached by a retailer for one of these combined contracts and have signed a contract; you can not be charged any cancellation penalties to get out of the gas part of the contract.
